Cold War



It's 1952, the Cold War, Marham based 115 Squadron are tasked to overfly Moscow. The planned route is Marham, El Adem, Incirlik, Peshawar, overhead Moscow, Bodo, Marham. Due to a loss of engine power over the Caspian Sea an emergency landing was attempted at Ramsar (OINR) Persia. This resulted in the loss of the aircraft, the crew survived and were accommodated in the Shah's palace until a replacement aircraft arrived. The purpose and outcome of the mission remain TOP SECRET.
